A limited release created from our signature mashbill, and cut to an approachable 48.2% ABV. Matured in American Oak ex-Pedro Ximenez casks and finished in heavy-charred ex-Bourbon American Oak, this distinctive whisky is silky- sweet, creamy, flavourful, and delicately spiced.
Tasting notes
Sweet nose with spicy notes of white pepper, cinnamon and ginger. On the palate, creaming soda, marmalade, and Christmas fruitcake; then comes the grain influence of liquorice, ginger root, fennel and (surprisingly) linseed oil.Â
Matured in American Oak ex-PX casks and finished in heavy-charred ex-Bourbon American Oak, this distinctive whisky balances deep cask sweetness with oily, cereal notes, and Hunter Island’s characteristic spice. Cut to an approachable 48.2%.Â
